Striking Venues....

Every designer must have dreamed about it, at least once in their life to have a feel of creating the interior scenes who presenting their inner thought, in the story board with all the mess, creation, imagination and have no obligation to please anyone but him self. Only his ideas and imagination. It just so happen, that I had a chance to invited my humble designer friend, Ary Juwono, as one of my magazine contributor for creating 4 amazing interior setting for Livingetc Indonesia magazine.

First impression when arrived at the photo shoot location in Gudang Gambar Antasari, is colorful in many sections, remain unfinished in some, and worn out in others. For me, it generates a 'feel' that brings out colour inspiration for creative work I've seen several photoshoots taken and some more art gallery ambiance held here.

For the mains shoot, I've heard a lot of how Ary techicaly genius for twisting the Chinoseries way with touch of eclectic, proven...I feel like in Asian Shabby Chic world there! The combination of classic silver sofa with the red Chinese Trunk and the bright blue wall, it had my choice on it right away.

A quick ten minutes after, voila! Ary comes with the so called interior fashion showcase. Served as the patio corner room, just the way a fashion designer should preferred it. By 'should' I meant I have no problem having it in any other way, but love the look, well done, I can still imagine enjoying my sunny afternoon there. But for next time, again I owe it to informed Ary the setting for the magazine should look functional, the way it 'should' be.

On the bedroom setting area, the mood was very soft, smooth for the eyes. It is look different from the other. It was a bit version of Safari and Pernakan look which is usually raw, thick and less airy. The bedroom was not filled in formal way, it was more like a filling whipped cream in to coffe, instead using busy texture, Ary use some more feminin floral accent at the bed sheet, and the wall screen. The Mink Fur decoration on top the bed complete the whole setting as the fine finale.
